Inpatient care offers the advantages of a controlled, structured environment with 24-hour skilled nursing care and intensive treatment not available on an outpatient basis. It may include up to 10 hours per day of programming under a physician-led multidisciplinary treatment team and the ability to utilize both medication and psychotherapy as appropriate.
